Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Australian Sports Marketing (ASM). Please carefully read the following terms and conditions that govern your purchase of event tickets and travel packages. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to comply with these terms & conditions. 

Ticket Policy: 

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the event details. (Please refer to our cancellation policy).
  • The advertising of tickets for resale on the Internet or any other platform, as well as their resale, exchange for a fee or reward, or any other commercial transactions, is strictly prohibited. If a ticket has been subject to such actions in violation of this condition, the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.
  • Under no circumstances are we obligated to issue a replacement ticket, including but not limited to instances of loss or theft. Should a ticket be lost, stolen, or misplaced before or during an event, and if a replacement is possible, a fee of $100 per person per ticket will be charged. This fee is in addition to any charges imposed by service providers.

Promotional Policy: Tickets must not be purchased with the intent to be used as promotional giveaways, and they must not be on-sold. Any violation of this policy may result in the cancellation of tickets and packages without a refund.

Payment Policy: ASM cannot release any event tickets or packages until full payment has been received. Payments should be made in accordance with the payment instructions provided at the time of booking, where we require a non-refundable 30% deposit upon booking.  Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive payment of your deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable. 

Payment options include cash, cheque, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and credit card. Please note that for credit card transactions, additional merchant fees will be incurred and added to the total amount.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and reductions in Supercars ticket and package numbers will incur the following fees:

  • 91 Days prior to the event: No Fee
  • 61 – 90 Days prior to the event: 30% Cancellation Fee
  • 31 – 60 Days Prior to the event: 60% Cancellation Fee
  • 30 Days prior to the event: 100% Cancellation Fee

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and reductions in Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix ticket and package numbers will incur the following fees:

  • 30% Non-Refundable Deposit to Confirm your Reservation
  • 120 Days prior to the event: 70% Cancellation Fee
  • 60 Days prior to the event: 100% Cancellation Fee

Any cancellation or reduction must be communicated in writing to asm@austsportsgroup.com.au.

Travel Arrangements: For travel packages, additional terms and conditions may apply, including those imposed by airlines, hotels, and transportation providers. It is the responsibility of the traveller to be aware of and comply with these terms.

Refund Policy: Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 30 days from the date of the cancellation request. Refunds will be made to the original payment method or held as a credit towards any future bookings. 

Event Changes and Postponements: ASM reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, venue, or program. In the case of event postponement, your booking will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact asm@austsportsgroup.com.au for further assistance.

Force Majeure: ASM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will use reasonable endeavours to recover payments from third parties attributable to your booking, but we make no guarantee that we will be able to recover these payments either partially or at all.

Indemnification: By attending the event or using ASM’s services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASM, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of our services or attendance at the event.

Passports & Visas: A valid passport and any essential visas for your journey are mandatory requirements. It is your sole responsibility to confirm that you possess the requisite documentation to adhere to the laws and regulations of the countries scheduled for visitation.

Client Names: For security reasons, airlines and our overseas suppliers require names to be given exactly as stated in your passport. If you do not advise the correct information and we have to re-issue airline tickets or other documentation, then you will be responsible for any fees charged (such as airline cancellation charges or re-issue fees) in addition to our own reasonable administration fees.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly encourage that you are adequately insured for the duration of your trip. 

We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical requirements, luggage, repatriations and additional expenses. Travel insurance can be booked through us or directly with your preferred travel insurer. The choice of insurer is yours. We strongly suggest you purchase insurance at the time you pay your deposit. This is because cancellation fees and charges are payable from that time.

Please note that we do not maintain any insurance policy for event cancellations. It is your responsibility to procure a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers such potential cancellations.

We take no responsibility for the outcome of any travel insurance claim.

Dietary Requirements: Special dietary requests are required to be notified to us at the time of booking. Although we will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee requests will be met by suppliers. It is your responsibility to check that meals and beverages do not contain any allergens. We expressly disclaim any liability for meals or beverages that contain allergens.

Complaints: Should any issues arise with any aspect of your travel arrangements, it is imperative that you promptly inform us, our representative, or our local supplier. Timely communication is essential to afford us or our suppliers the opportunity to address and rectify the situation on-site.
